En este año (2020) es el año Beethoven, ya que se celebra 250° de su nacimiento. Nació en Bonn, el 16 de diciembre 1770.
Joven músico, héroe y personaje, concibió la mayoría de sus obras las realizó estando privado por la sordera.
Murió en 1827 en Viena. Ese día cerraron las escuelas y fue declarado duelo nacional.
Entre los que cargaron su féretro fue el famoso Franz Schubert.
Nunca antes el funeral de un músico había sido tan memorable, solo fue superada por el de Verdi en 1901.

que esto explica que todas las personas la padezcan en algún momento del
día.
En el caso de la halitosis crónica, en cambio, los desencadenantes
tienen más que ver con una placa bacteriana que se produce en la lengua y
que alberga bacterias anaeróbicas; éstas proliferan en sitios como
encías inflamadas, espacios interdentarios, pliegues de la lengua, etc.
Marigo Klein se extiende en definiciones y tratamientos de este
"desequilibrio bacteriano considerado una enfermedad social". Focaliza
en el impacto en la vida cotidiana de quienes la padecen. "Te aleja de
los vínculos, porque la gente no quiere hablar con alguien que exhala un
aroma desagradable, produce inevitablemente distancia", dice y se
explaya en casos de pacientes que se separaron de sus parejas por este
problema, otros que estaban en crisis y lograron recomponer sus
vínculos, de personas que se volvieron más sociables, que ganaron
seguridad en el trato con sus pares y con sus superiores en el trabajo,
entre otras historias.

sonriente, segura, y mira a su médica.

EL HOMBRE Y EL CLIMA
Desde
sus inicios, la vida humana ha estado íntimamente relacionada con los fenómenos
naturales. Las lluvias y sequías, las erupciones volcánicas, los terremotos,
los huracanes, las variaciones de temperatura, etc., influyeron –y aún lo
hacen– en el desarrollo de las distintas civilizaciones, en todos los órdenes
de la vida, tanto intelectuales como materiales: las creencias religiosas, las
ciencias, la filosofía, el desarrollo tecnológico, la agricultura, la
arquitectura, la alimentación, etc.
Los
cambios en el clima
El
clima cambia por procesos naturales, tanto internos como externos. Entre los
primeros sobresalen las emisiones volcánicas y otras fuentes de gases de efecto
invernadero como, por ejemplo, el metano emitido por los animales, también la
deriva continental, la composición atmosférica, las corrientes oceánicas y el
campo magnético terrestre. Entre los segundos pueden citarse los cambios en la
órbita de la Tierra alrededor del Sol y la propia actividad solar.
A estos procesos naturales deben sumarse los
efectos de la actividad que la humanidad desarrolla desde hace milenios. Su
influencia comenzó con la deforestación de bosques para convertirlos en tierras
de cultivo y pastoreo, restando a la superficie terrestre masas boscosas que
absorben dióxido de carbono. A esto se suma el hecho de quemar combustibles
fósiles –petróleo, carbón y gas natural– en cantidades cada vez mayores para
hacer funcionar fábricas, vehículos y centrales eléctricas, causando un aumento
de los gases de efecto invernadero en la atmósfera, alterando el equilibrio
natural y produciendo un aumento de la temperatura en todo el mundo –el
“calentamiento global”–, con sus efectos en el clima. Hoy se discute mucho
sobre el cambio climático, pero aún no está del todo demostrado que se debe solo
a causas antrópicas.
LA PRÓXIMA GUERRA... LA GUERRA DEL AGUA
El agua brota como el mayor
conflicto geopolítico del siglo xxi, ya que se espera que en el año 2025 la demanda de este elemento,
tan necesario para la vida humana, será un 56% superior al suministro... y
quienes posean agua podrían ser blanco de un saqueo forzado. Se calcula que
para los 6250 millones de habitantes a los que hemos llegado se necesitaría ya
un 20% más de agua. La pugna es entre quienes creen que el agua debe ser
considerada un bien comerciable (como el trigo y el café) y quienes expresan que
es un bien social relacionado con el derecho a la vida. Los alcances de la
soberanía nacional y las herramientas legales son también parte de este
combate.
En la mayoría de las regiones, el
problema no es la falta de agua dulce potable, sino más bien la mala gestión y
distribución de los recursos hídricos y sus métodos. La mayor parte del agua
dulce se utiliza para la agricultura, mientras que una cantidad sustancial se
pierde en el proceso de riego. La mayoría de los sistemas de riego funcionan de
manera ineficiente, por lo que se pierde aproximadamente el 60 por ciento del
agua que se extrae, el cual se evapora o vuelve al cauce de los ríos o a los
acuíferos subterráneos. Los métodos de riego ineficientes entrañan sus propios
riesgos para la salud; así por ejemplo, el anegamiento de algunas zonas de Asia
Meridional es el determinante fundamental para la transmisión de la malaria,
situación que se reitera en muchas otras partes del mundo.
Este
recurso es un bien tan necesario que podría pasar a ser objeto de
enfrentamientos políticos si se le observa solo como un negocio, lo que
actualmente sucede con el embotellamiento del agua.
Entre 1970 y el 2000, la venta del
agua creció más de 80 veces. Hoy en día, la industria del agua se embolsa 200
000 millones de euros por la venta del agua embotellada, solo las
multinacionales francesas Vivendi y Suez controlan el 40% del mercado mundial
operando en más de 200 países de todo el mundo con el apoyo del BM, el FMI y la
OMC.
EL FUTBOL PERUANO
Me he opuesto, me opongo y me opondré siempre al fútbol peruano porque es una fuente eterna y despiadada de frustración. Porque siempre ilusiona a tanta pobre gente, y en tiempo récord, luego la defrauda y la deprime hasta niveles de suicidio colectivo. Porque exalta un patrioterismo barato, cerril, prepotente e inútil. Porque sus fracasos siempre terminan dándole la razón a los ampays de los programas de espectáculos. Porque genera ganancias absurdamente millonarias en publicidad, ¡y de cerveza! Porque esos comerciales futboleros no aspiran a construir ningún país de deportistas ganadores sino uno de borrachines necios e inservibles. Porque esas campañas venden la idea de que triunfar en la vida es ser, justamente, una Foca Farfán: ganar mucha plata afuera, no mandarle a tus hijos (negados) ni para el té y cuidarse tanto las sacrosantas piernecitas cada vez que le toca ponerse la blanquirroja. Porque es el caldo de cultivo para los narradores deportivos más obvios y afásicos del mundo. Porque es la fuente de inspiración para los titulares de diarios más ridículamente candelejones. Porque el floro pomposo con que los comentaristas de fútbol se adornan demora siempre quince minutazos para decir lo que se podría haber dicho en ninguno, o sea: nada. Porque endiosa a cualquier NN al que liga un gol y masacra hasta a la mamá de la superestrella que lo falla. Porque produce lamentables filósofos instantáneos como el santurrón de Oré o el calzonazo de Ternero. Porque nos habitúa a una mediocridad tal que llegamos a sentirnos supercampeones cuando empatamos cero a cero.
Porque por empatar tienen la majestuosa desfachatez de pretender cobrar ocho mil dólares de premio. (¿Y con cuánto los premian por perder?) Porque sobrevalúa jotitas que no le han ganado a nadie todavía y los infla como globos hasta el día en que –lógico– reventarán con el ensordecedor estruendo de los verdaderos bluffs. Porque sus estrellas internacionales –que llegan a hacernos el gran favor de jugar por su ex barrio, o sea, por su país– vienen llenecitos de esos disfuerzos tan típicos de los imbéciles con plata: ayer nomás dormían en Huaycán y hoy exigen suite en El Golf Los Inkas. Y porque las raras veces en que se hace matemáticamente posible la victoria en algún irrelevante partido amistoso, los primeros en colgarse de la veintiúnica victoria son los presidentes, los mismos presidentes que no hacen nunca absolutamente nada para que el oprobioso fútbol peruano deje de trapear internacionalmente el piso con nuestra bandera y pueda, algún día, dar un poquito menos de lástima que la que viene dándole –en las últimas tres décadas– al planeta entero. ¡Así no, pues, así no!
